More Norsk Hydro’s plants resume operation this week

   According to the report from Norsk Hydro, a Norwegian aluminum and renewable energy company, even amid serious COVID-19 epidemic, there were more recycling and extrusion plants resuming operations this week.

  The company had reported the operation status in different segments. In bauxite, alumina and energy segments, the operations were running as usual. In primary metal segments, the operations in the US proceeded in lower capacity-utilization.
  In rolled product segments, the operations for the automotive industry were performed at lower level as customer suspended production. In extrusion segments, most operations were running at reduced capacity-utilization and some remained closed.
  The company had seen high uncertainty in all segments.
