Russian January-February Aluminum Output Up 2.7% On Year

MOSCOW--Russia produced 616,886 metric tons of primary aluminum, 2.7% more than a year earlier, said the Aluminy lobby group, which acts on behalf of the Rusal and Sual aluminum groups.

Alumina output during the period increased by 5.1% on the year to 539,095 tons.

Rusal produced 462,379 tons of primary aluminum in January-February, an increase of 3.1% on the year.

Sual increased primary aluminum output by 1.2% to 154,507 tons.
