Russia exported 900,400 metric tons of aluminum in January-March, 23.3% less than in the corresponding period last year, the federal customs service reported.
The exported aluminum was worth $1.697 billion, compared with $1.559 billion a year ago.
Aluminum exported to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States was 898,700 tons, worth $1.693 billion, compared with 1.173 million tons worth $1.555 billion a year ago.
