Rusal's North America President To Leave

Bruce Markowitz, formerly president of Rusal America, is to leave the company, aluminum producer United Company Rusal said. He has been with the company for six years. No reason for his departure was given. Markowitz attended an industry conference in Dubai last week and there was no indication of his pending departure. His replacement is Sergey Bubnov, who joins Rusal from Ferromin Ltd., where he's been director of the Moscow trading office since February 2006. He isn't new to Rusal; Bubnov was director of the company's export sales department from 2003 to 2006, and helped set up Rusal's North American headquarters in New York in 1999. Mark Bodner has meanwhile been appointed Rusal sales director, with responsibility for sales and marketing strategy, and customer relations. In addition, Richard Kellner joins Rusal from Next Chapter Associates LLC, a risk management and insurance advisory firm which he founded and where he will continue to serve as president. He will assume the new role of chief operating officer of Rusal North America.
