In January-August Russia Increased Aluminum Export Sales by 23% to USD5.195 Billion

MOSCOW, October 10. Export revenues from the sales of Russian primary aluminum totaled USD5.195 billion in January-August 2007, a 23% growth as compared with the same period of last year - USD4.224 billion. These figures are reported in the communication of the Federal Customs Service. A total of 2.589 million tons of unprocessed aluminum were shipped to foreign consumers, a 5% decline as compared with January-August last year - 2.72 million tons.
