RUsal will Cooperate with Kamaz on invest Baku Aluminum Smelter

According to the Russian trade representative in Azerbaijan Yurk Shchedrin said Rusal expected to cooperate with truck manifacture—Kamaz on Baku aluminum smelter invest project, which is currently pending discussion now. The two plans to invest on Kamaz truck assemble product line. Rusal is now considering supplying material to it from third world. Yury Shchedrin said: “this project needs 400,000 ton aluminum to generate profit each year. There isn’t enough material in Azerbaijan, so they have to import. RUSAL also prepared to build other needing electricity plant for it.” This project goes slowly because Azerbaijan doesn’t want to give preferential on tax and so on.
