UC Rusal constructing “green” smelter

Recently, the biggest aluminum and aluminum producer—UC Rusal is constructing a large scale integrated factory, including a 3000MW hydropower station and a 600 thousand ton “green” aluminum smelter. In this August, new modernize transformation program was launched in and 40 years old factor. Through the transformation, pollution od this factory will decrease 40%. This company also made an agreement with Russia Atomic energy organization to build and nuclear aluminum smelter.
