Russia Jan-Oct Aluminum Exports 2.9M Tons, Down 7.5% On Year

MOSCOW -Russia exported in January-October 2.904 million metric tons of aluminum, 7.5% less than in January-October 2007, the federal customs service reported Monday. The exported aluminum was worth $6.385 billion compared with $6.285 billion a year earlier. Aluminum exports to countries outside the CIS totaled 2.885 million tons worth $6.338 billion compared with 3.129 million tons worth $6.254 billion million in January-October 2007.
