Russia's 2009 aluminum exports up by 5.3% y-o-y to 3.62mln t

Feb. 9 MetalBiz--Federal Customs of Russia announced that in 2009, Russia's aluminum exports were 3.62mln tons, upwards by 5.3% than 2008. Data showed that in 2009, the total value of aluminum exports was U.S.$5.23bln, lower than 2008's U.S.$7.49bln.

In 2009, Russia exported 3.595mln tons of aluminum to non-CIS, valuing U.S.$5.19bln, in 2008, exports standing at 3.42mln tons, valuing U.S.$7.44bln.
