Alcan Senior Management Join in Rio Tinto’s Directorate

News from Rio Tinto said that after the purchase of Alcan, its incumbent chairman Yves Fortier, Non-Executive Directors Paul Tellier and CEO Dick Evans was nominated to be member’s Rio Tinto’s director from Oct. 25. Fortier and Tellier will to be the Non-Executive Directors. Evans to be the director of Rio Tinto and CEO of this new united aluminum corporation. The senior non-executive director Richard Sykes chevalier will be retired in the end of the 2008’s stockholder convention, and Andrew Gould will instead Richard Sykes chevalier to be the new senior non-executive director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, he is the chair of Committee on Public Accounts, and David Clementi will instead him. These nomination will be go into effect from the ending of 2008’s stockholders convention.
