Century Aluminum reached electricity supply agreement with Rio Tinto Alcan and Big Rivers

It is reported that Big Rivers has reached an electricity supply agreement with Rio Tinto Alcan and Ventury ALuminum, for the long term development of their Kentucky and Sebree aluminum smelters. This agreement is part of Big Rivers’ electricity industry moves, it will also increase electricity fund. Big Rivers Electricity located in Henderson in Kentucky State, main business is generating electricity. If Kentucky public service commission passes this agreement, big Rivers have to prepare to supply 850 MW electricity in 2011 to Century Aluminum and Rio Tinto Alcan.
