Stern, a conservatories and patio producer in German, has chosen Hydro REDUXA, Hydro’s series of low carbon aluminum, for its conservatories to reduce CO2 emissions. The aluminum profiles were provided by Hydro's Drunen, Offenburg and Hoogezand plants.

According to Stern’s CEO Frank Schulte, choosing Hydro REDUXA with 100% renewable energy was a natural choice. Hydro REDUXA, which was Hydro’s primary aluminum produced based on renewable energy, can prove there was up to 4 kilograms of CO2 per kilogram aluminum.
