Rio Tinto income in 2007 fell 1.7%

Rio Tinto said on Wednesday that its net income in 2007 fell 1.7% to $73,120m. That is the first fell from 2003. In 2007, its turnover has risen 32.2% to $29.7b, net income is $74,430m, increased 1.4% compared to 2006. This result is higher than the prediction in last year. It has also reaffirmed that the price gave by BHP Billiton has significantly undervalued its assets and developing prospect.
