TOCOM intend introduced Japan trade system

Tokyo, Jan. 4—TOCOM said it wants to introduce a 24 hours trade system to compete to abroad companies. They place high expectation of this system. It will be introduced in March, 2009 and start to use in fall. TOCOM commodity futures transaction takes up 60% in Japan, However, the transaction volume in felling now because it made strict rules to protect the benefit of investors. Compare to the high transaction amount, it has fell half in 2007. Recently, TOCOM took many measures to attract more investors and increase transaction volume. It also plans to delay closing time to prolong exchange time from next Monday.
